Another day on the road, another set of inspiring visits to Idaho’s amazing public charter schools in Eastern Idaho!

Monticello Montessori Public Charter School – Picture windows with mountain views (and the occasional moose on the playground)! Their blended learning model meets students at their level, and every classroom has a kitchenette for hands-on life skills like cooking.

Taylor's Crossing Public Charter School – Leading the way in academics with 95% of students proficient on the 2024-2025 IRI and an impressive 17.5% growth from fall to spring. A highlight: watching 2nd graders recite their lengthy pledge with actions and pride; it’s mission-driven learning in action.

Elevate Academy-Idaho Falls – Yes, they have a slide in the school! But even more inspiring is how they give back: students build dog houses for local shelters, cater community events, and even craft furniture for the new Elevate: Twin Falls opening in 2026.

Every visit reminds us of the creativity, dedication, and unique pathways that Idaho’s public charter schools provide for students.
